Aftermath Became The First Rolling Stones Album To Be Issued Here In Mono And Stereo Which Made Sense Because It Was Indeed Their First Album That Was Mixed In True Stereo ( The Previous Album Was Only Mixed In Mono And Eventually Became Only Available In Fake Stereo ).
The LP Was Also The First One From The Group That Was Released In This Country With Both Sides Of The Original Uk Cover Artwork, But It Appeared Here In A Slightly Truncated Form Since Two Songs, Doncha Bother Me and Think, Were Omitted So That Only 12 Tracks ( The French Cutting Engineer Was Not Able To Transfer The Original Album's 27 min. Per Side-Onto Record In Its Entirety At This Time).
The Lp Was Also Re-issued With The Shortened Track Listing With Its Original Title As Vol.5 L'age D'or series, Usually In A (Gatefold) Cover With An Attached Booklet.
The Album Became Available In France For The First Time With The Full Uk Track Listing In 1978!
It Was Re-issued Again In 1980 And Both Editions Were Sold With The Same Cover As In Uk. (Source Maus Book Rolling Stones Worldwide III.
